Ann D Harnoncourt had died recently. She was the CEO of the Philadelphia museum of art. It is sad to see an advocate of art die. I have been a fan of art all my life, and I am going to school for Graphic Arts. Art is something that everyone can enjoy, and It can be a great investment. It is sad when somebody who supports art, like Ann D Harnoncourt, dies, because she is such a great help to our culture.

My favorite kind of art is paintings, but I enjoy everything from sculptures to abstract art. Ann D Harnoncourt owned the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which is one of the best museums in the world, and certainly in the USA. It holds many art masterpieces, including many famous paintings. Ann D Harnoncourt is one of the greatest art contributers. The Museum has been around since 1928 and includes so many great pieces of art, like The Carl Otto Kretzschmar von Kienbusch Collection.

Philadelphia is one of America’s oldest cities, and is also a culture center. The Art shown at the Philadelphia Museum of Art shows what this country is about. Ann D Harnoncourt started at the museum in the 60’s and worked her way up to director and then CEO. I am very proud of America’s Art Heritage, and Ann D Harnoncourt tried hard to keep it alive.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Ann D Harnoncourt. Thank you for all of the Art that you were able to show us through out the years. Without art, life would be empty, and without Ann D Harnoncourt, art would be not has big as it is today.
